“ Called ahead for two dozen of a variety of empanadas and the order took about 30 minutes to make. The place is takeout only. My husband and I parked and waited a bit since we were early. The owner comes out and speaks to the customers waiting outside as he awaits the empanadas baking. We wanted to try different flavors since it was our first time having Argentinian food. We ordered (and shared with others) Traditional beef x4 (not my fave since I'm not a fan of olives but I enjoyed the beef texture) Spicy beef x4 (yummy ground beef with bell peppers and without olives) Steak and cheese x2 (a bit bland for my liking) Ham and cheese x2 (too salty and the cheese wasn't stringy but rather liquidy/creamy) Al pastor x4 (my favorite and it comes with salsa verde and chipotle cream sauce) Buffalo chicken x4 (yummy and modern flavor) Spinach artichoke x2 (another favorite of mine solidly made) Curry tofu x2 (vegan and a bit sweet and good flavor) A bit (around $4 an empanada or $90 for two dozen) but the empanadas are made uniformly well. They have good quality and flavor. I enjoyed trying cuisine from Argentina. I would try their other flavors like the sweet empanadas. ”

“ I have been coming a few years and do not think I have done a review yet. The owner Brian puts love and care into both the food and the customer service. Great chef and a super nice guy. The food is singular and delicious. The tapas have a good crisp to the pastries all around. Plum and bacon has delicious mozza, crispy bacon and sweetness from the plums for the perfect balance. The spicy beef is flavorful with just a hint of spice and pairs perfectly with chipotle aioli for a pop of extra heat and flavor (I had not tried the sauce until today but will add to my orders going forward) The new pot pie is another blend with some sweet and savory and the gravy rounds it off perfectly (I recommend giving a slight shake to ensure gravy distribution). My daughter (11) was at her friend's house for lunch and when I called and confirmed she was staying there for lunch she asked what we were doing for lunch. I said Vinoma... and now we have her and her friend here instead to get their fix in. The food delicious as ever with the old favorites and always cool to try new flavors when Brian rolls them out. I made the mistake of only ordering one pot pie this time. I never make the mistake of ordering just one plum and bacon. Keep up the awesome work Vinoma! ”

“ The empanadas are delicious. You have to get your food to go as no indoor dining. I tried the corn, bacon and plum and spicy beef. The bacon and plum was one of the most delicious things I've tasted. Also loved the corn. The spicy beef was a little bit spicier than I like. But probs not for most folks. I tried to try this place several times but finally the stars lined up. Can hardly wait to return. ”

“ 12/15/2024 Our experience is as everyone else reviewed it! East in/out, we essentially got one of everything to try and a few of the favorites for our boys. Everything is Togo only but there are a few outdoor tables if you decide to dine here. Staff was friendly, helpful and food is great! Adjacent with a gas station. Everything you read here is on point! We will definitely be back when around. Next to Graton casino too! Ha! Good luck! ”

“ Vinoma lived up to the hype with meaty filled empanadas worth checking out! On a recent trip up to Santa Rosa, I remember hearing how Vinoma was the number one restaurant on Yelp! So what better way to enjoy Sonoma County area than to try Vinoma?? Attached to a Shell gas station, it is easy to miss Vinoma. But with each being less than $4 and pretty filling, this is a stop worth making! There is a way to order online, but when I got there, there was someone who was taking orders outside. I ordered most of the meat empanadas and was impressed with all of them. A few favorites: Traditional Beef (4.5/5): I thought this was going to be a bit boring by the name, but was pleasantly surprised by the savory spices in the beef balanced with the creamy spanish olive to mellow it out. Plum and Bacon (4.5/5): The sweetness from the plums paired with the crispy salty bacon made for a beautiful bite! One of the more intriguing bites! Buffalo Chicken (4/5): Definitely as described with the punchy sauce mellowed with the cheese. Al Pastor (4/5): The slow roasted pork was nice and tender. It comes with salsa verde and chipotle aioli that really made this bite so interesting. I also loved that it allowed me to use it on the other empanadas :D There are also some sweet empanadas that the person taking the order said was also worth checking out. There are few parking spots in front but may require finding some parking in the gas station if it were to get busy. Overall, Vinoma is a great stop to make if you need a relatively cheap but hearty meal while you are in the Sonoma County area. ”

“ This was my second time trying empanadas, and I was SOO glad we landed on Vinoma! We were making a small trip to Santa Rosa when I found Vinoma on Yelp. They were close to the freeway which was super convenient! They're located right next to a gas station, and don't have any indoor seating - only a few tables outside. For ordering, you can either order with them outside or order online. We ended up ordering with them - along the way, we were able to get a few recommendations too. We had the most pleasant experience getting to know a bit about the family that runs the business - props to their cashier! Onto the food: you MUUUST get the spinach artichoke empanada. The choripan is delicious too! The empanadas all had the perfect amount of filling, and you could tell that it was packaged with care. The handmade crust was peerrrfectly flakey. I'm still thinking about all of the empanadas we got to this day! The empanadas are about $3-4 ea. I'd probably follow their recommendation of getting 4-6 per person, because it's easy to scarf them all down in one sitting lol. They have frozen empanadas here too - I'd get these in the future to bring home! ”

“ Food: 5/5 Tried a variety of empanadas and they were all amazing. My favorite being the spinach artichoke and buffalo chicken. The outside is not too thick, decent amount of filling, and the food itself is piping hot. This is probably the best food place I have tried in Rohnert park, that felt well worth it. It is so appreciated these are all put in a box instead of a bag so the empanada do not leak but also do not get soggy. Service: 5/5 I ordered to pick up, but the lady who helped us was very kind. Wait time was about 15-20 min. The flowers in water she gave me with the order were a beautiful touch. Ambiance: 4/5 Although there is no seating inside, there are tables outside. I guess this could be a downside if planning to sit outside and it is raining or extremely hot. ”

“ I've been coming here for years, and can't believe I haven't done a review. This place is amazing. To be honest, whoever gives this place less than *****5***** stars is wrong...yeah, I said it! . The buffalo chicken is by far my favorite, but I think trying all of them all is worth it. The location is a bit hidden by the gas station and overlooked by all the In-N-Out crowd, but don't miss this place! ”
